Clothing / Footwear
Clothing has always been the symbol of one's social status. In the 17th century, pomp was valued and there was put even more emphasis on representative clothing than in earlier eras. The basic elements were simple shirt, shorter trousers and stockings. In case of footwear, low shoes with a heel were in fashion but also high boots were no exception. Low heel was typical for the period. Good-quality and comfortable clothing and footwear are essential for any historical reenactor.
